They're getting recycled around here.A friend with a log truck gets called to load the trailer when they get enough to make a load.He thought they were just being dumped somewhere,and figured he could invent a use for a few of them.Nope,they wanted them,he couldn't have any.They are being ground up and used as a lightweight filler to make pads to go under generators,propane tanks,pool pumps and filters,etc.The product looks like a concrete pad,but you can carry a 2X2 two inch thick pad in one hand.They are not something a regular scrap place is going to take though,it is more specialized.Just like the solar panels.Every part gets recycled,but it is done by companies that specializes in that kind of stuff,not a regular scrap dealer.Like anything else.it just may not be feasible in all parts of the country yet.
