Good points Dean, but the Hemmings online auction site is essentially a car and truck site, I follow it daily and I seldom if ever see tractors up for grabs, and the Hemmings 'ad writer' (who's unlikely to be a tractor guy of any kind) is at the mercy of the sellers description, which in this case is some kind of a dealer who is flogging it for the seller. The fees to get your vehicle into the auction are quite cheap, only $100 and nothing after that. BUT you must make their selection cut, they don't list everybody that applies apparently, they pick and choose. There is a 5% buyers fee, once again not unexpected or unreasonable these days I don't think. If your vehicle doesn't sell at the auction, you have the choice of putting it on their online for sale list for an additional six months at no charge. I think the whole think is not much more than an advertising thing to get people to follow Hemmings ..... and they are considered the 'bible' of collector vehicle sales publications in the world (according to them anyways).
