The only poison which works for me is HOMBRE mini blocks. It can be placed in a bait box, or you can run a wire through the blocks to keep it from getting hauled away. I've tried others, but they ignore it. Put out HOMBRE, and right away blocks are chewed on, and soon I smell dead rodents. Moth balls don't work here. Things like dryer sheets and Irish Spring soap get chewed on and/or used for nest material!
