Trail ploughs can be on land plough, meaning you dont have to drive with one tire in the previous furrow. I like the semi mounted plough the best on a modern tractor. I learned to plough with a steel wheel, IH , spring hitch plough. Id venture it is the plough that you could by far and away achieve the best adjustment with. The old spring hitch plough had two levers to adjust depth, and you could finish out a dead furrow so shallow, as to hardly notice a dead furrow was in the field. I had a 3 pth plough, and grew to hate it on hilly ground.
