I frequently have part of a spray can left over and save the can to paint or prime the next project. There are two types of nozzles. One nozzle has a piece that protrudes into the can and is part of the nozzle, the other has the protrusion sticking out of the can and the nozzle fits over it. Buy a couple cans of brake cleaner, one with each setup and when you are finished painting put the nozzle on the brake spray can and hit it to clean the nozzle.
