Ron, You can charge them both at once, regardless if they are in series or parallel, you would just set the charger on 6 (if parallel) or 12 volts (if series). I'm confident they are two in series to make 12 volts, so put a charger set at 12 volts across the sum (series connection) of both of them. One disadvantage of two batteries, is that ones going bad harms the remaining one, but the advantage is increased amperage cranking capacity. John T Electrical Engineer jmn50@msn.com
