Glow plus I am not sold on that they are EZ to check for me no disassembly needed. You need a high amp clamp I am going by memory total amp draw 160 bone cold as it warms up the amps go down. Are you can do each side at the glow plug relay I think its the brown wires. You will get 80 amps cold for each side. Each glow plug pulls 20 amps. 4X20 = 80, 8X20 = 160. If it has a volt meter it will read 12V for the first 60 seconds are so and gradually go up to normal charging voltage as the resistance goes up the amps go down. All in dash volt meters are not accurate mine is you could put a voltmeter on the battery. If its above 50deg you don't need glow plug I have read 30 I can tell you 50 is the cut off on mine. A few out will not cause your problem.
Dorman is a dirty word use Motorcraft parts ONLY... I also found out a dorman are any cam sensor other than Motorcraft OEM you are asking for trouble. In a jam I have used aftermarket they all bit me and it was sooner rather than later. : (
