We go 20 inches of snow Wednesday night, unusual for us. Was plowing my drive and neighbor's with SMTA with loader and back blade. Tractor died in front of neighbor's mailbox. Lucky ws on the shoulder of road. I pulled hydraulic pump and found cam gear was loose, not a quick fix on the side of the road. Called my friend with big JD with 4 wheel drive but tractor was not running due to water in fuel filters. Decided to put loader on my JD 430 that has never failed me. I haven't run it since October and apparently transmission was frozen. Got it thawed out with magnetic heater, Big Boy heater and heat gun but no way would it go through 20 inches of soft snow to get to loader, chains were on SMTA. Today we managed to get SMTA home In a spot out of the way, removed chains from it and installed on JD. Also friend plowed path to loader so is looking a little better today. I love winter
