I would not go anywhere near Doniphan unless you are in an unloaded pickup and want to take the scenic route.
If you are going to cross on 155 take the route caterpillar guy suggest 412 to 63. If you going to cross in Cario run 60 all the way to 63 and go down to West Plains. Personally I would take 60 threw Poplar Bluff all the way to Willow Springs and south on 63 to West Plains route. We only talking a few minutes and much better roads.
