Last week I posted about trying to get this mower back up and running. You guys helped me out getting the cutting bar set up but I was still having problems with the clutch so I took it apart and found some broken parts. The nut that sets the spring tension is sunk deep into the plate over the spring. That will have to be fixed.
I took the pulley off of the PTO shaft and found the main issue. The plate that the slip clutch fits onto on the PTO shaft is badly worn and broken off of the shaft.
I dont think Ill find parts for a machine that was last sold by Sears and Roebuck in 1956 so the plan is to weld the holes up in the plate and re drill them then weld the plate back on the PTO shaft. And put it back together. If the is another way to make the repair let me know. Ill updated when I put it back together. Thanks!

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
