My wife was an A person. She believed that it was more economical to run on the top half of the tank. We sold a car to my son a year or so ago. Nephew was driving it up to Bismarck to deliver it. I was driving the return vehicle & we were communicating via walkie talkies. Just about to Bismarck & he called asking about how far you could drive after the low fuel light came on. I told him I had no idea, it had never been on in the 8 years we'd owned the car, wife had never let the guage get below the 1/2 full mark.
