My Brother-in-law's Dad convinced My Dad to switch to Case plows, mostly replaced an IH 4F-43 4-14 Fast Hitch plow with a 4-14 trailing Case plow because the MidWest plow harrow wouldn't work on the Fast Hitch plow but worked great on the Case trailing plow. Dad traded the Case 4-14 for a Case 5-14 when he bought the 4010 Deere, then removed the back bottom so we could run faster than 1st or 2nd gear. With a fresh M&W overhaul and somebody that actually KNEW what they were doing inside a RoosaMaster injection pump it was making 100-105 hp and plowed in 4th or 5th gear till it blew a head gasket one Saturday morning. Having plowed mostly with an IH #8 3-14 and plugged up in corn stalks A HECK of a lot the Case plows seldom plugged up. I'd like to find a 2 or 3 bottom trailing plow to take to local plow days, and it would either be an IH #60 or a CASE.
