The Laclede Chain website shows their ladder chain 0869 has 23.6" cross chains and 130.6" side chains. Their Dou 252 chain shows 23.3" cross chains and 155.3 side chains for 14.9 x 28 tractor tires. That should give you the ballpark measurements you will be looking for. Counting links and cross chains is a good idea, but may not work if someone made the chains up from used parts, as some people have done. Length and width measurement just help confirm they might fit.
