Guido you are right about the metric system. It is easier to learn and to use. For people like me who grew up using the fractional system it's a little hard to change over to metric though. As for the restaurant, they probably figure we old farts are such a small percentage of the crowd they don't worry about us not coming in the door. $cooters has an app for paying where you just hold out your smart phone, the gal behind the window scans it and you are on your way in seconds. I do have a weakness for stopping at a Scooters but I have not uploaded the app yet. Green cash still works.
