This info might be of use to others. I have a good friend who bought a new Ford 4 WD "lawn mower". It has a 3 cyl diesel engine and belly mower. It cost in the neighborhood of 10 grand. He has a large area around his place that he mows. One day he was mowing where, obviously he shouldn't have and he happened to hit something with the mower that stopped the tractor dead. When he started it up there was an awful noise from the transmission and oil pouring fron a crack in the housing. What happened was a tooth from the PTO gear broke and got wedged in the transmission gears and the force broke the housing. Had the dealer come and get it for repairs. The cost was almost 4 grand to fix it.The dealer casually mentioned to check his insurance policy and after a few calls, sure enough he was covered. BTW the repairs too 4 months to complete as parts were not available. Mike Dane
