My golf cart has gave issues for two years I don't use it, its became a kids ride when they come over. One of the girls figured out if you pull the headlight switch it would fire up. Sometimes it would not crank over pulling the headlight switch got it to crank. After a year it got so bad it cranked would not start I had planed on rebuilding the engine and did last winter.
The valves were worn and tight. I put pistons rings seals and valves while I was there a new coil. After the rebuild it fired up ran strong that did not last long we are back to square one. They got by messing with it when it would not start it always started with me. I could raise the seat it started then it got to the point it would not start I told them when I get time I will look at it. It had all it needed tho I thought the spark was on the weak side I was about to give up. I always wondered what this fuse went to. I pulled it apart it was full of dirt I cleaned it up good it fired off and ran strong. My spark got better and it now snaps/pops when I test spark Its been hammer down for a couple weeks with no issues.
