Thank you all for the replies. I talked to Steiner and didn't really get any answers other than it shows a serial number break on the bd154 engine and that my engine serial number falls below the specs for this seal. Their spec says serial number 26077 and up. My engine serial number is 23512. What doesn't make sense is I'm sure they didn't change the rotation of the motor at that point. I don't see that spec mentioned on any other site that sells a rear main seal for this engine. So I'm going to call Case/IH tomorrow and see what they have to say.Definitely created a topic of discussion tonight. Lol. I really appreciate everyone's help and advice. I also posted on red power if anyone sees the same post over there. I also sent an email to Canadian Redneck to see if hes ever heard of this before.
