Hello. Maybe some of you will remember that last month I posted about the battle I was having trying to get my HP 8150 printer to work after the win-10 upgrade install. Well that never happened and to make the long story short even the HP tech support could offer no help except to tell me I needed a new USB cable. I tried to explain them I had tried 3 different cables but no luck. I gave up after most of a week lookin for a driver/install for the HP printer. Win 10 effectively just killed off a very good printer. So I moved that printer to the shop office where I have a non internet connected computer I use for reading service manuals and such on CD's and it is back working fine on the XP program. I will just bite the bullet and buy a Win-10 compatible printer.
So now on to the real question of this post, any one have or have used a Canon Pixma G-5020 printer? I don't need the all in one unit because I have a very good Epson flat bed scanner already and I don't need a fax machine. There is one already here but it hasn't been used to send or recieve a fax in ~ 5 years. E-mails do a much faster and easier job of sending information now.
Single function printers are very hard to find and cost more than many of the all in one units. The relation ship of this to tractors is that I print out much of the down loaded info so I can have the hard copy to read as I work. I like the fact that it has an ink tank and no expensive cartridges to give out in the middle of a print job and also I need a low profile unit like this one to fit in the space that is alloted for the printer in the cabinet so that I will not have to tear out and remodel the cabinet and desk unit here. Thanks for taking time to read this and give your opinion.

Today's Featured Article - Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
