Another issue is if you never used ethanol in your tractor, there likely is a whole lot of gum and varnish built up all over.
Ethanol is a good solvent and dissolves all that crud, so you see a big wad of junk the first month you use the stuff. Its actually cleaning out your fuel system, but lot of folk think oh its the ethanol making crud.
Something to keep in mind, if one is new to ethanol. Its been in all gas in this state for so many decades Im always surprised to see there are places that dont have it!
