When I get something piled up in the shop like that I cannot get away from it. It throws my schedule out of wrack. I understand "Like" I don't like the pressure it puts me in anymore.
Some OEM parts are taking awhile to get I have a 99 K2500 5.3 I have been waiting a week for a OEM water pump. Maybe someone dropped the ball I called yesterday and had to give the vin and start the order over ? that never sounds good does it.
Something I discovered on the older trucks, that molded 1/2" coolant hose that goes from the surge tank to the radiator our cost is $75 you can use #22827733 our cost $28. Its pert near the same hose and fits prefect.
I am a OEM coolant/parts/hose man I want it to fit and last another 20 years I normally don't care what OEM cost BUT $75 for a short molded 1/2" coolant hose is way out of line.
