As others have said below, round up kills everything, and then you have bare ground which will wash away due to erosion. So, you might want to use a selective herbicide like 2 4 d, or crossbow. As far as the 8n and a carry all, it won't take much weight to make it light in the front end. Our county has a pull behind 200-gallon sprayer with a Honda engine on it, that can be rented. It has broad jet nozzles on the back and a hose and wand for hand spraying. I pull it mostly with my tractor that has a foot feed accelerator pedal so I can speed up or slow down which is very handy when I use the handheld wand. I sometimes only put 20 gallon in it for hand spraying. Mark.
