Well, I buy them to learn something. When I learn that I don't like them very much, I sell them or give them to nephews and brother. JD H, JD M. Allis WD, Allis WD45, MF 20, 3 Allis CA's, Two Fordson Majors, Ford 3400. Fordson Dexta. IH Cub Cadet 1450. Cockshutt 40PD, Case RC, Case L. I also bought and sold 3 Doodlebugs. I stripped a Ford 2000 and provided the parts to build up a Ford 4000 school tractor for my club. I don't know how I had the energy. Don't now. I just wanted projects for my retirement years. Some I resold almost immediately. Some I bought on behalf of friends. A lot of guys can't bring themselves to buy at auction, but they will buy it from you after they've had time to think about it. Some were sold to fellow collectors in our tractor club. Didn't hear any complaints. My biggest negative, was the clumsy ergonomics. Some tractors are very hard to get on and off without breaking some bones. The Minneapolis JetStar 3 that I used for snowplowing for 34 years, I guess I liked that one quite a lot. Have a few little Cases and Allis to pass on yet. (Before I do.) For personal use, I'm all Orange diesel. It's been fun. Hasn't cost much all said and done.
