Hello Mountain welcome to YT! What Jim has proposed is one possible problem. Another is that the starter is getting worn and then the engine is not cranking fast enough to fire it. And.or batteries the batteries are weak. Third is only a possibility if your engine has an injection pump and not a common rail system. The possibility is that the injection pump is getting worn and there is to much clearance in the head and rotor and when hot will not provide proper pressure to the injectors at cranking speed. Does the engine crank at a speed similar to when the engine is cold or is it rolling over slowly?
