I remember as a kid working at Village Dodge in Painesville , Ohio. There was a chemical plant that had a Dodge W-700 4 wheel drive flatbed with railroad coupler on the rear. They used it to move rail cars in their yard. I went to pick it up for service one morning and it had chains on both axles. Also saw a pile of ties in pieces next to the rails.. Must have had a rough night before. It was called The Shuttle Wagon pro painted on the doors.. Pulled the rear axles and driveshaft, drove it back to V.D. On the front axle. Stripped the spider gears. Ah , Yes . Those were the days..
