There was a beautiful big old dairy barn about 12 miles from me.It was pretty taken care of,but I can't remember any cows being in it.It had no modern day equipment in it.The Barnwood Builders TV people came and took it down.What I found interesting was that they had never seen a New England dairy barn before,it was like nothing they had ever torn down.I didn't realize just how unmolested it was until they were tearing it down.It was just the way it was built in the 1800's.I drooled over that barn since I was a kid.I always dreamed I could fill it up with old cars,tractors,and parts.It was sad to see it taken down,but if you don't have a use for it there isn't much point in maintaining an empty building.You can watch the episode on Barnwood Builders,the Deerfield N.H. dairy barn.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
