I've been searching some Pertronix issues, but have not quite come up with a fix for my issue. I hope I may find some assistance, if able.
Ford 2600 3 cyl Gas. I replaced the Ignition with the 1231 Pertronix, upgraded the coil and installed a Ballast Resistor. Tractor started right up, and ran for about 5 minutes and stalled. Could not start it again. I did not realize the tractor had a Ballast Wire, and Coil was no longer good, no resistance showing from Pos or Neg to high voltage wire. Got a new coil, removed the ballast wire and ran regular wire from the wire from the ignition, to the Starter relay, to the Ballast Resistor to coil. I can't get any spark. Coil is good, Pertronix Ignitor is good. I get 12 V to Ballast Resistor, 12V to the Coil, (after ballast resistor should this be 6V?) Ran 12V direct to red wire on Ignitor. All Grounds are good. Still no spark. Magnet on the ignitor when spun voltage goes 12 to 0, so ignitor is working. Coil resistance is good. No spark.
Anyone have a clue what I'm screwing up or have screwed up? It started and ran wonderful for 5 min and then nothing so that drives me even more insane.

Today's Featured Article - Hydraulics - Cylinder Anatomy - by Curtis von Fange. Let’s make one more addition to our series on hydraulics. I’ve noticed a few questions in the comment section that could pertain to hydraulic cylinders so I thought we could take a short look at this real workhorse of the circuit. Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
