Most of you guys are pretty sharp! I was in the shop when the neighbor drove in so did not hear it run--Looked it all over and asked what motor-283 or 348-said nothing but opened the hood-ta-da--348-the valve covers give it away. Had a buddy that had one in high school but his was in a 58 black 4-door sedan--he could beat my Ford 352 every time. Mine was a POOCH! Here is the car the 348 is in. Elmer is the neighbors name--nicest guy in the world-Lost his wife two years ago and is by himself-Is 78 years old still farms 450 acres-LOVES red machinery! He has more classics and likes to show them to people--Will go see him and get more pictures--THANKS---Tee

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
