I thought things looked fairly dry, so I took this thing out, and ran over some ground that will go into beans this year. Corn had been combined off this field last November, and a few days later, I dragged this thing over the corn stalks to kinda cut them up some, and maybe get some dirt on them and keep them close to the ground so they could stay wet and start to rot. Also lots of trash to stop erosion.
I guess one more pass I a week or so, should make this field fit and smooth enough to plant. Sure saves a lot of time and fuel doing minimal tillage compared to conventional.
