Hips are about as easy to be done as tonsils were 20 years ago now. Dad had one of his done. Been a few years ago now. He gets around as good as he did before it . He also had a few problems mostly from his end though. He got it done and would not follow doc's orders. 3 weeks after wards was walking around like nothing happened till he got an infection in it. Then back to the hospital for infection and replace the pieces. He would also put his socks on his way and had it disconnect about 3 times in a little over a month so back in to fix that. Now he's out cutting firewood and doing things like he always did. This all happened since his 85th birthday and is now 89. To see him get around you would never know he had it done.
