Thank you everyone for the support. Kerosene at 7/11 is $4.20 which is $0.40 LESS than regular gas prices. I don't mind putting a little bit more money for fuel of a tractor if it's perfectly restored (IF it was more than gas!). Not many of them run on kerosene anymore and it would be great for show. I'm not using it as a main tractor on a farm, so it doesn't need as much horsepower as I can get out of it, otherwise I would have went with a more powerful tractor! I can run it on gas if the price of kerosene skyrockets, but I know my area better than you guys. I understand that I may want to convert it back to gas for "less hassle" and "less money" but I can always keep the gas head and exchange the pistons. I am using it as a project and I enjoy the labor of it.
