You might find some spark plug extenders to move the plugs out from the cylinders a bit so the oil doesn't splash on them so easy. But if the engine is pumping that much oil and you want it to do real work its time for a rebuild, don't neglect the valve stem seals or the rings. And once you do rings, rod bearings are necessary because the old ones probably won't stand the loads of good combustion. Gerald
