When she backed up to you she was trying to show you where to scratch on her hind end. I once had my elderly mother on a golf cart riding with me and petting cows and horses. One full size horse which I had raised from a filly, was on my side letting us pet her head. She wheels around and parks her butt right on my lap. She had a horse fly biting and wanted me to swat it off. As soon as I did, she turned back around and continued nosing us and wanting mor petting. Luckily the cart had a guard at the end of the seat which saved me a broken leg.
