I hear you George. I used to use on a creeper to roll under the running board on my older pickup with no problems, now it is a tight squeeze. Maybe the reason new pickups are getting higher is so fat old men can still get under them, LOL. Add in the time and hassle to bring the used oil to the service station for recycling. For only an extra $10 I might as well let them do the whole oil change while I drink their free coffee and read their old magazines.
I checked today, Walmart has now raised the price of their PIT CREW oil change up to $22.88 for 5 qts of conventional oil, a new filter, grease, and tire pressure check. Even with the cheapest oil and the cheapest filter that must be a loss leader as most people will shop for other things while their car is being serviced. For an older car or for someone on a tight budget that is a good deal.
