Look to see if the stem screws into the tube or onto the tube. The short piece the core goes into. If it screw into it then with the stem up and no weight on the wheel unscrew the stem and put a new one in. This is the fastest least leak change program. You can then change the core with no issue of Chloride spraying around on things. I then save the old stems for other jobs in tubes for use. Then after you are done with the stem you can ad air to suit then.
