I put used transmission oil on my trailer wood floor. 2 years later 2 deck boards needed replaced. I think the oil help seal in the water and boards rotted faster.. Menards sells the old CCA wood, special order from a company menards owns.. I used a 8 ft and a 12 ft CCA 2x6 to make the repair. Only thing I could get. $32 with tax for 8 and 12 ft 2x6 boards..
I think keeping the trailer in full sun may be better.
I had a tenant put large flower pots on the wood deck. The flower pots trapped water. Under the flower pots the wood rotted. You could step through the wood. The rest of the wood was good..
I made a mistake by putting shingles on steps for an elderly man so he wouldn't slip.
In one year I was replacing the steps. In my opinion trapping water causes today's treated lumber to rot..Keep it dry and in the full sun..
Just my opinion. Others are welcome to theirs..
Only two of my trailer deck boards needed replaced. My trailer is 11 years old..
