A few weeks ago I posted pics of my MF35 governor assembly repair. Things didn't seem to fit exactly the way I thought but I was following repair guidelines. Its a good thing Steve@Advance offered some advice that saved me a 'do over, time and money'. The tractor is running like a champ and no surging or other issues. Sometimes just a tip or advice can solve the problem. This site has many guys who share their knowledge on repairs to old tractors. It is very much appreciated. (Ended up using old nut to tighten cage as new one didn't seem to thread properly)
