I bought a 1996 Deere that had had an electrical fire, very limited actual fire damage. By 2007, I ran into several parts NLA from Deere and fitment issues with some that were still available. Some of the parts I needed were not due to the fire as much as how it had been treated both before and after the issue. Still have not remounted the cab on account of missing parts that support the windshield, and laziness.
I am well under the current value of the tractor in parts and paid repairs, not counting my time.
