Ive been working on a JD model 40 standard and the adjusting rod and nut on the brake actuator is missing. Doesn't seem be available old post suggested making one out of threaded rod, If anyone has done this how long is the rod supposed to be diameter and thread of rod. this rod adjusts the brakes --I think maybe why have no brakes
