This was obviously a transfer sled pull as opposed to stoneboat. There were a few of the stoneboat guys there though. I knew about your 8000 and about breaking the axle. As you probably know it is on youtube. I have also hooked at Cliff Clark's in Williamsburg and at Bolton Fair. I am in southern NH.
You should check with Jason or Corey at Forrester's New Holland in Chambersburg PA. They pull Ford/NewHollands all over the country, and if there is an axle change-out like your twins want to do they would know about it. I sent an email to a puller from down your way that would probably know about how the axle was repaired.
