Moresmoke has said it. Also, those stripper headers have advantages and disadvantages. Not used a lot around here on wheat but there are some. Leaves a lot more unmolested straw standing. They are much more expensive than a conventional small grain header. Since they only take the head into the combine, there is less wear on the threshing parts and some claim faster travel. The only crop around here that they can be used on is wheat and we have lots of grain sorghum (milo) and they won't work on that. Best if you could see a picture of the head where it takes the wheat head off to make it clearer how it works.
