When I build a second pole barn at my other property, I made it 14 ft tall so I could build a loft for things I want to keep out of the elements. Then I bought 4 ft titan forks with a brush guard. My kubota is the elevator to my loft. Currently the loft is 8x30x8 ft high. I figure I can extend the loft 8 feet at a time to keep my good stuff off the floor.
Yesterday I swept the floor just to have something to do.
I put some red oak and sycamore boards on the special shelves I made above the workbenches.
No way could I be happy working in my pole barn if it looked trashed up..
