I too am 75 way to old to hoist gas cans. few years ago I started using 6 gallon OMC ( Evenrude) gas cans for transport. I fill them on tailgate so I do not have to lift the weight. The marine tanks have a quick connect for the hose and in the line a primer bulb. I bought an inline 12 volt fuel pump (ebay) I wired it with a dead man switch (monetary contact NO) push button switch with battery clips. So now you have a 1/4 inch hose with a 12 volt pump and what ever length you want, quick connect on one end . I pull tractor up to tailgate and just pump into tractor. After using this way I ended up cutimg the quick connector off and just inserting into the gas can, works OK but slow. If I need to move 6 gallon tanks I just use a hand truck. Works for me, email open if you want more info. joe

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
