Several years ago I was pulling some I beams off a flat bed truck. I had to yank on them to get them to slide. That night my right shoulder got very painful kept getting worse. Hurt bad to try to lift my arm any. I couldn't sleep much because of the pain. A lump the size of a walnut came up on top of the shoulder I couldn't even touch the lump without severe pain. I wore a sling to support my lower arm. I finally went to the bone and joint doctor. He gave me a steroid shot straight down in that lump. Worst pain I ever had. Had to have a man hold me down while he gave the shot. It started getting better in a couple days. May have been time to start getting better anyway without the shot? Took a long time to completely heal.
