When I applied for a State summer mowing job in 1976 I was required to test on a brand new 2640. Up till then all I has any experience with was a Farmall M or an old Minnie ZU. I remember the 2640 was light years ahead, and while I did fine on the test and got the job after a couple weeks running the 2640 I really started to hate having to use the old tractors when I went home!
