I scraped most of dirt and oil off around the hydraulic pump. The pump bolts to an aluminum plate that bolts to the engine. I originally unbolted in the wrong place. Once the aluminum plate is unbolted , the pump , plate, and gear come off.
I will take it to a hydraulic shop tomorrow for testing , if not to obsolete. He says on the phone for me to pull the gear so he can see the shaft. It may be to obsolete for his equipment.
It has a tow bar. I may have to reassemble and tow to his facility ( 20 some miles away ,0 for him to test the pressure ; or figure a way for me to test ; with it attached to the engine in the forklift.
