We have 2 3600's. The 3600 does not use the system he is describing. It has an electric device in the intake hose that heats as you turn the key to the left. If you spray starting fluid, it will explode if the heater was used. I found it best to remove one of the soft plugs from the right side of the engine and install an electric heater. It will start then. Cost less than $20.
