There IS a right side and a wrong side if you have drop center rims. The side closest to the drop center is the one to mount and dismount tires from.
If the drop center is in the middle of the rim, then the side with the valve stem is usually the right side, UNLESS it's on the inside. Then you need one of those valve stem snakes with the t-handle and cable.
Most tractor rims made after 1955 are a flat bottom with no drop center, so whatever side is "out" on the tractor is the "right" side to mount and dismount tires from.
