I'm searching for some fuel filter numbers for a friend who has a Massey Harris 555 diesel (382 diesel Continental engine). There are two fuel filters on this engine as follows ....
1) One is a drop in paper cartridge into a steel canister. 2) The 2nd one is a metal-clad (sealed) throwaway filter with two fuel lines ..... one threading into one end and the other threaded into the opposite end.
Does this sound like the original set up (ie two filters, one of each kind I described)?
Part numbers (NAPA or any other brand/make) would be appreciated. The numbers on the filters he has are not readable.
