If you are thinking of extending them down father to dige deeper you will start breaking one of 2 things the shanks or the shovels or both. Just use it with the single shovel on it. It is not a subsoiler. If you want a subsoiler or deep ripper then buy one don't try using that for it as I already said you will be breaking things.
