Hey guys I just finished putting up some 2nd crop hay in central MN. I am having an issue with alot of stickers in this crop. The field is a mixture of orchard grass, timothy, fescue, alfalfa etc.
I did one acre soil samples this spring and had lime applied variable rate with a target of 6.8 for PH. I just had this spread on top and did not incorporate into the already established field so I know it will take years to work its way into the soil. I applied sol-po-mag and urea fertilizer in the spring but not after 2nd crop. Attached is some of my soil samples.
Any suggestions on getting rid of the stickers? Thanks
